1_Final project:
The project consists of a Hotel with SPA done in a garden Mediterranean zone near the town of Sollana, Valencia. The Hotel has a huge interior and exterior program in a site of 10.000m2. The plot is separated from the town by the train tracks and a huge green space so the proposal turns its back to the town looking for better orientations and views. The principal idea of the project is to try to include the program in four huge blocks: the SPA, the restaurant, clients’ function rooms and assembly room, and the block of the hotel rooms in two floors. I started playing with these volumes generating exterior delimited spaces and private spaces for each one of them as well as a huge central common space that contains the principal swimming pool.  The materials used consist of stone facing of the colour of the Mediterranean gardens and wooden slats in the superior block of rooms that provides lightness versus the massiveness of the three inferior volumes.
The blocks of ground floor collect light from the huge glass openings as well as from the interior patios that permit at the same time enclose the space.

2_ Public library proyect:
This is a project completed in fourth year of architecture for the subject of Projects IV. The project had to face a double problematic: on one hand the historical traces and important buildings of the centre of Valencia (the cathedral, the “Almudin”) and in the other hand the irregularity of the plot in which we had to work on. Starting from this problematic and after a detailed study of the historical city centre emerges the idea of a library around a great central patio that changes its dimensions as it rises in height. This permits a light play between the different floors.
There for it consists of a massive volume with small perforations at the exterior following the stone facing module chosen.
